Santa Barbara Hospice and Palliative Care provide extensive physical, emotional, and psychological care to terminally ill patients and their families. We also offer exceptional bereavement services for a patient’s family after their loved one has passed. We provide 4 levels of hospice care: Routine Home Care This care level is the most common for people who need hospice care. No matter where the patient is, our services are available at home, at care facilities, nursing homes, etc. Continuous Home Care For continuous home care, our services are available 24 hours a day. The care is for the patients who need continuous care for the management of medical symptoms. Respite Care Respite care is mainly for caregivers who need a break. The respite care admits the patient to a care center or a hospital and allows the main caregiver to have a rest for some days. General Inpatient Care Inpatient care is generally for those who want to manage chronic pain and symptoms that don’t require long-term treatment.
