We aim to fundamentally rethink healthcare systems in Africa — starting from the realities on the ground.
For too long, solutions have been designed top-down, often copied from foreign models, disconnected from local dynamics. We believe it’s time to change that.
Santel is a systemic and grounded vision.
We start with technology — but we go beyond.
We work on health savings, community solidarity, public awareness, reform, regulatory experimentation (sandboxes), and policy advocacy.
Our goal by 2035: to build alternative, inclusive, and sustainable models that make healthcare truly accessible — using the tools and strengths we already have.
Santel is moving forward step by step. And at each stage, we’ll need allies, funding, field experiments, ideas, failures, hope, and shared purpose.

La digitalisation sera la base mais elle ne suffira pas.
Il faut aussi mobiliser les communautés, créer des modèles alternatifs de financement comme l’épargne santé, repenser la régulation avec des sandbox, et bâtir une vision partagée.
Santel, c’est une plateforme vivante, évolutive, collective.
C’est aussi un appel : aux développeurs, designers, agents de santé, penseurs, citoyens, pour inventer ensemble ce que la santé peut devenir d’ici 2035.
