SAPHO is a agency for the introduction of new ornamental plant varieties, founded, in 1974, whose partners are 13 French nurseries. We do not produce plants, we do not sell plants! But what do we do? Our job consists of : - selecting new varieties, good natured plants for today and tomorrow, in collaboration with our partners, breeders and nurserymen. - supporting breeders in the process of protecting their creations. - developping partnerships with licensed nurserymen and with counterparts in other territories - ensuring the development and promotion of these varieties in all sectors and uses, in France, Europe and worldwide. Good natured plants are innovative and sustainable plants that are aesthetic, resistant, original, easy to maintain but also adapted to market needs and agronomic requirements.
