About Sara Hildén Art Museum – Sara Hildénin taidemuseo

The Sara Hildén Art Museum, which is the permanent home of the collection of modern and contemporary art, Finnish and foreign, owned by the Sara Hildén Foundation, is maintained by the City of Tampere. Sara Hildén Foundation Collection currently amounts to some 5000 works. It is thus a comprehensive collection which presents a broad cross section of the development in modern art over the last forty years. The Sara Hildén Foundation continues to be responsible for expanding the collection, and places its acquisitions in the art museum.
