About us: Bosnia and Herzegovina Association for United Nations (BHA UN) is an association established primarily to promote the values and spirit of the United Nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including but not limiting to the Sustainable Development Goals and the Charter of the UN. The BHA UN has evolved from bringing together youth leaders to organize and participate in Model United Nations conferences and other relevant panel discussions on current world issues. We aim to inform and affirm the general public of the activities, importance and values of the United Nations, projects and initiatives for change that are being implemented by the United Nations or are ought to be implemented in the future, and that are of interest of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through our activities, we promote the principles of understanding, tolerance, coexistence and inter-connectivity of the people regardless of the language, gender, race, national, ethnic or religious affiliation, all in order to establish new contacts and joint action towards solving contemporary problems in BiH and the world. Mission: Our mission is to promote human rights, peace, reconciliation, civic engagement and youth participation, mainly by promoting the Sustainable Development Goals and the Charter of the United Nations. We are dedicated to promoting and raising awareness of the values and spirit of the United Nations within BiH, as well as the principles of understanding, tolerance, coexistence and interconnectivity of the people regardless of the language, gender, race, national, ethnic or religious affiliation. Vision: Everyone matters - reaching a just, peaceful, reconciled, inclusive and sustainable society by engaging relevant stakeholders, youth and individuals in a process that fosters bottom-up interaction.
