Sarama has two belt-scale projects covering approximately 1000km2 in the Laverton Gold District in Western Australia’s Prolific Eastern Goldfields. Between them, the projects host over 100km strike-length of greenstone rocks and are well-positioned, underexplored and present an outstanding exploration opportunity. In addition to the outstanding exploration opportunity, the company is pursuing a large damages claim against the Government of Burkina Faso which is now the subject of arbitration in the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in Washington DC. The company is led by an experienced board and management team with more than 30 years of individual experience and a proven track record in the discovery and development of large-scale gold deposits including the 25 million ounce world-class Kibali Gold Mine and the + 3 million ounce Sanutura Gold Project.
