Sarc + Sigge is an architectural company with studios in Helsinki and Turku, Finland. Our mission is to create environments for a good life.
We have an egalitarian, collaborative culture, and we foster long-lasting client relationships. The parent companies, SARC and SIGGE, were founded in 1965 and 1956, respectively.
Our team of 140 professionals has a superior ability to design high-quality, sustainable buildings. For instance, we have created the New Children's Hospital in Helsinki and the Finnish Embassy in Berlin. These are just two examples of our diverse portfolio, which includes office, retail, and residential buildings, hospitals, universities, and public buildings, as well as laboratories and museums. We have years of experience in both new buildings with demanding briefs as well as sensitive renovation projects of listed buildings.
Although most of our projects are direct commissions, we have won dozens of accolades from domestic and international architecture competitions, including the Finlandia Prize for Architecture, The Best Building In The World, and invitations to the Venice Biennale.
We also have several firsts under our belts as certified sustainability and life-cycle architects.
