Sargeant's Army

Sargeant’s Army is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018 by Ashley Nevison in memory of her beloved cat, Sargeant. What began as a small project to sew eco-friendly cat toys for shelter animals has grown into a national movement of compassion, creativity, and community impact. We provide Hope Bags filled with hygiene items, food, and water to individuals experiencing homelessness—and we go beyond that by inspiring the next generation to make a difference. Through meaningful, hands-on service opportunities, we empower youth to give back, take action, and create lasting change in their communities. What started with a single $250 youth grant has grown into a nationally recognized organization fueled by passion, youth leadership, and a mission to serve with heart.
