Students Against Sexual Harassment and Assault (SASHA) raises awareness and campaigns against issues related to sexual assault and rape culture prevalent in universities and wider communities. We aim to:
- Provide a safe space for everyone no matter their gender, race, sexuality, disabilities or experiences.
- We host Sip and Social every Wednesday, where everyone is welcome to chill with other like-minded students!
- Educate on issues around sexual violence (SV), including consent and understanding the normalisation of SV in our daily lives.
- We hope to empathise real-life experiences with sexual violence rather than just statistics.
- Have a positive effect on the campuses of Leeds and push for better approaches to sexual assault everywhere.
