Sustainability Alliance of Students and Staff (SASS)

Our mission is to unite, teach and inspire sustainability-minded students and staff. As the immediacy of the climate crisis and other sustainability threats increase, SASS aims to raise awareness of these issues throughout all faculties at UTS to encourage innovation, advocacy and action. Through professional development, learning and social events, we hope to further our members’ learning about a wide range of sustainability topics and help students and staff from all faculties understand how sustainability will become increasingly relevant in their chosen industry. As the society most closely aligned with the Bachelor of Sustainability and Environment, the society will also provide a space for students to support one another through their studies in this degree.
