Satcom Institute of Technology (SIT) was founded by Mr. Elias in December 2005 with the mission of providing short- and long-term technical and technological training to the community. Starting with its first branch in Piassa, SIT was created to address the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, offering hands-on learning opportunities. Mr. Elias, a young and visionary leader, recognized the need for practical training and implemented a “practice-first” approach to ensure students gain real-world skills. Through years of dedication, SIT has grown into a leading institute, known for producing skilled professionals who contribute to Ethiopia’s technological advancement. We focus on empowering youth, from high school to college students, helping them develop both their technical and mental capacities through step-by-step, applied learning. SIT specializes in areas such as electrical, electromechanical, and installation technologies, offering an experiential learning process that is essential for career success. Our courses combine hands-on training with soft skill development, ensuring that students are equipped to tackle real-world challenges.
