Satelindo

Satelindo (full name PT Satelit Palapa Indonesia) is a mobile operator with GSM technology first in Indonesia (pioneer) Satelindo was founded in 1993 and operational in 1994 and is a joint venture owned jointly Bimantara Citra, Telkom and Indosat. In 2000 Indosat and Telkom agreed to transfer of ownership of shares in Satelindo and Telkomsel to end cross-ownership in the two companies and to show goodwill in business competition. Services provided by Satelindo is to provide mobile phone communication services (Satelindo Card) postpaid subscription using the trademark Matrix and Mentari as prepaid services In the final quarter of 2003 the company was dissolved after acquired by Indosat.
