Satia Industries Limited is a group of paper & textile industries is owned by Dr. Ajay Satia CMD. Plant was commissioned in August, 1984 using agricultural residues as raw material with an installed production capacity of 7500 TPA writing and printing paper in 1984. The industry production capacity is gradually increased by incorporated with latest technologies and up gradation. Now industry is manufacturing 90000 TPA paper with agro base virgin pulp. The Industry established Eco-Friendly paper of different varieties writing and printing paper including watermark paper very well in the domestic and overseas market with excellent quality paper. The organization has obtained ECO-Mark from Bureau of Indian Standards. To meet pollution standards for water and air pollution Industry has Installed Soda Recovery Plant based on Conventional Chemical Recovery and Effluent Treatment Plant based on two stages diffused aeration activated sludge process, an aerobic UASB digester and Electrostatic precipitator for air emission for Co-Generation Power Boiler. Location of Industry The site is located at a distance of 6 kms from Muktsar city at Muktsar - Malout Road.
