The Saudi Film Council (SFC) aims to nurture creative talent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through sustained and strategic development of the film and content industry.
SFC was established under the General Culture Authority to enable Saudis to discover their talent, cultural diversity, creativity, and to promote Saudi content both locally and globally, while enabling a new sector that will become a significant contributor to the kingdom's economic and social development in accordance with Vision 2030.
يهدف المجلس السعودي للأفلام إلى دعم وتنمية المواهب الإبداعية في المملكة العربية السعودية في سياق العمل على تطوير قطاع الأفلام والمحتوى الإبداعي في المملكة من خلال الاستثمارات المدروسة والتنمية الاستراتيجية والمستدامة.
تأسس المجلس السعودي للأفلام تحت الهيئة العامة للثقافة. يحرص المجلس على تمكين السعوديين في اكتشاف مواهبهم، تنويع المحتوى الثقافي، والترويج لمحتوى إبداعي ثقافي سعودي محلياً وعالمياً، مع العمل أيضاً على تطوير قطاع يساهم بشكل ملموس في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية في المملكة وفق رؤية 2030
