Savannah Philharmonic

Now celebrating our 15th Anniversary Season, the Savannah Philharmonic is a community focused arts organization dedicated to presenting exceptional concert programming and music education offerings of the highest caliber throughout Savannah and the southeast region. Comprised of a professional orchestra and community chorus, and led by the masterful baton of Keitaro Herada, the SavPhil performs a vast range of works from composers of the past and present, and in all genres from classical to contemporary. Under the visionary leadership of the Executive Director, a committed Board of Directors, and dedicated staff of six, the organization focuses on fostering community and inspiring a true appreciation of music through equitable access to performances and education programs. Season highlights include free community concerts through our Phil the Neighborhoods series and our Phil the Park in Forsyth Park -- along with our subscription series concerts at The Lucas Center for the Arts and meaningful music education offerings through our Community Music School.
