Save9Lives is an organ donation awareness campaign founded by Jim Lynskey in 2015.
After being added to the transplant waiting list at 19 years old and in need of a donor heart, Jim discovered that one person can donate enough organs to save or enhance the lives of nine people. Since then, Jim worked tirelessly to support the NHS in raising awareness of organ donation, partnering with best-selling artist Lewis Capaldi on the music video for 'Someone You Loved', among many other ventures in media, sport and music.
In 2019, Jim sadly passed away when a donor heart could not be found in time, and Save9Lives is now headed by Jim's twin sister Grace, mum Collette and friend Lauren, who continue to encourage the important discussion around organ donation.
