SAVF is a nationally registered welfare organization - 001-446 NPO - in operation since 1904. SAVF already celebrated its centenary on 19 October 2004.
Our services statistics represent a person - a child, an adult or an elderly person with his or her unique circumstances and needs, reached and touched by SAVF. Services and outreach projects to 164 154 persons have been calculated in 2021.
Our services include early childhood development centres, child- and youth care centres, foster care, safe homes, child protection, preventative and therapeutic programmes, empowerment of teenagers and mothers and fathers, family care, root enquiries, community programmes such as empowerment, skills development, poverty eradication, HIV programmes, employee health and wellness, aged care in homes, housing, luncheon clubs, home support services, etc.
