Sawdust is the creative collaboration between Rob Gonzalez and Jonathan Quainton. For nearly two decades, we have produced engaging, award-winning work for renowned brands such as Apple, Nike, Netflix, NASA, The New York Times, WIRED, Microsoft, Adidas, Reebok, and Converse, and have been commissioned by numerous creative agencies worldwide.
Our work is driven by an interest in the atmospheric and enigmatic, often exploring themes related to light, shadow, form, futurism, typography, geometry, and more recently sound. Creative and aesthetic exploration continues to be the driving force behind the work.
Recognition includes features, profiles, and interviews in books, magazines, and online publications, as well as exhibiting pieces at esteemed galleries such as The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Dolby Gallery in San Francisco, and The Design Museum in London.
