The Small Business Innovation Research Consortium is the top education, networking and advocacy resource for Gulf South participants in the SBIR program. The goal of SBIRC is to improve the innovation ecosystem through outreach and advocacy for public policies that will increase small business success nationwide. SBIRC is a member-driven organization made up of companies that are participating in the SBIR program and organizations that support them. The goal of organization is to increase the level of small business participation in the Federal SBIR program nationwide. SBIRC has a focused interest in states that have historically under-performed in carrying out federally funded research and development.
