SBÜ TEKMER A.Ş., Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi, Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi Sağlık Teknokenti A.Ş. ve Küçük ve Orta Ölçekli İşletmeleri Geliştirme ve Destekleme İdaresi Başkanlığı (KOSGEB) proje desteği ile 12 Ocak 2022 tarihinde kurulmuştur. SBÜ TEKMER, KOSGEB’in TEKMER/İŞGEM destek programı kapsamında kurulmuş olup, 5746 sayılı Araştırma ve Geliştirme Faaliyetlerinin Desteklenmesi Hakkında Kanun kapsamındaki destek ve teşvik unsurlarından faydalanan bir teknoloji geliştirme merkezidir.
SBÜ TEKMER Ankara Gülhane Yerleşkesinde 1015 m2 alan üzerine inşa edilmiş olup, bünyesinde; 16 kapalı ofis, 22 açık ofis, 1 toplantı salonu, 1 eğitim salonu, 2 laboratuvar ve 2 tasarım atölyesi içermektedir.
