Barklav (Romania) – is a joint venture company between the Torvald Klaveness – Group and former Barber International Group (actual Wilhelmsen Ship Management) established on 17th of May 2000, who wants to be recognized as market leader in supply of “state – of – art “ manning services with competitive and Customer oriented solutions in crewing for Maritime Industry, based on Klaveness’ experience and knowledge of the Romanian crew source and Wilhelmsen’s extensive crew network and crew management system. Barklav has been licensed by Romanian authorities to provide seafarers and land workers for overseas employment. The Company provide officers and ratings to the founding companies as well as to other Norwegian and international prudent owners and managers. The Barklav Manning Services and procedures have been established in accordance with ISO 9001/2008 standards. The company's management staff consist of senior officers with previous seagoing experience aboard Norwegian managed vessels.
