Mock trial is a team activity that gives competitors the chance to explore the legal system and develop the advocacy skills needed to excel within it. Our teams compete in tournaments around the country, where we present a carefully constructed court case based on materials provided annually by the American Mock Trial Association.
SC Mock Trial has 4 tight-knit teams of 6 to 10 members apiece, who work together to ensure that the program as a whole is successful. Our members have the responsibility of deciding the program's structure, strategy, and schedule. We host our own tournaments attended by teams from across the country, with help from volunteer attorney-judges.
