About SCAHCE
Our History: The South Carolina Association for Higher Continuing Education (SCAHCE) was constitutionally organized in 1977 by continuing educators representing various institutions of higher education within the state. Over the past two decades, the organization’s membership has grown to include representation from more than 40 public and private entities. Our Purpose: To promote continuing education within South Carolina and respond to the needs of educators and administrators of continuing education in order to better serve students and other consumers of continuing education programs. Our Values: Excellence - The Association is committed to excellence in continuing education. Diversity - The Association recognizes the intrinsic worth of each person and the importance of a unified, diverse membership.
