SCALE NCR

The Department of Science and Technology- (DOST-PCIEERD), through the support of their ReSEED Program, has made pioneering efforts in managing its Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) in the National Capital Region (NCR) by strengthening its collaborative efforts and serving as the base agency of a consortium, namely, Strategic and Collaborative Alliance for Leveraging Ecosystem of Startups (SCALE) NCR. Established in 2022, eight (8) DOST PCIEERD-assisted Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) comprising the consortium primarily provide a formal venue to catalyze the redirection, focusing, and consolidating efforts to address the members' needs. This consortium also aims to achieve efficiency among its member TBIs through collaborations and sharing resources, namely human resources, talent, equipment, facilities, and funds. The ReSEED Program aims to provide support to the startup ecosystem of the Philippines. The following are the objectives of SCALE - NCR, under the ReSEED 2.0 program: General Objectives: Lead the support in strengthening the startup ecosystem to develop investable startups, thus contributing to elevating the level of NCR in international startup ecosystem rankings. Our Vision: By the year 2028, SCALE-NCR envisions itself as a pillar in nurturing the growth and development of incubators and accelerators in producing globally competitive startups driven by innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. Our Mission: Leads the support in strengthening the startup ecosystem to develop investable startups, thus contributing to elevating the level of NCR in international startup ecosystem rankings.
