Over the past decade, more than 300 transnational projects have sought to reimagine collective decision-making. From citizen science initiatives to participatory pilots, these efforts have aimed to enhance democratic processes across Europe and beyond. Yet, too many of these solutions remain aloft, waiting to be grounded in practice. ScaleDem changes that. By bridging the gap between research and implementation, #ScaleDem ensures that democratic innovations reach those who can use them to foster more inclusive and participatory #governance. Through our comprehensive scaling infrastructure (find more about it here), ScaleDem transforms proven democratic innovations into practical tools, extending their impact beyond the “laboratory” of research and into diverse real-world contexts.
