The Scandinavian Society of Cosmetic Chemists is a non-profit organisation.
SCANCOS is committed to advancing the knowledge of
• Cosmetic science
• Technology
• Associated areas
and to encouraging the dissemination of this knowledge. The society endeavours this by attracting men and women being highly scientifically qualified and having academical and/or industrial experience in cosmetics or related sciences.
We have around 100 members and are affiliated to the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC).
SCANCOS has members in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Latvia. The board is partly renewed every year by election at the annual members meeting.
