Scan-Hide is an integrated part of the slaughterhouse's value chain, which handles and refines the animal hides from Danish, Swedish and German slaughterhouses. The cattle hide is a by-product from the meat industry, and is allocated to the global premium tannery market. Scan-Hide refines the hides to semi-finished products (wet-blue & wet-white), which is the first step in the tannery process for finished leather.
