Scandinavia Community UGM

Scandinavia Community UGM (Scanity UGM) is one of the student activity units which belongs to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIPOL) of Universitas Gadjah Mada. Established in 2011, The main purpose of Scanity UGM is to become a learning center for students to study about Scandinavian nation-states from many perspectives and also a media to introduce Scandinavia to the public. Scanity UGM focuses its studies mainly on three Scandinavian states: Norway, Sweden, and Denmark; however, other Nordic states such as Finland and Iceland is also included within its studies, although less often.
