In April 2018 Scanwill Fluid Power ApS was acquired by the Swedish group Addtech AB.
ScanWill’s compact hydraulic pressure intensifiers offer an easy, energy-saving, safe and cost-efficient solution to achieving a higher output pressure from an existing low-pressure power source. Low pressure supplied to the inlet port – say 15-200 bar / 218-2,900 psi – is transformed to high pressure at the outlet port – from 30-4,000 bar / 435-58,000 psi. Our pressure intensifiers are made of cast iron and steel, with a chrome finish, as well as in stainless steel for the oil & gas sector.
Scanwill Fluid Power distribute the intensifier product range through more than 40 sales partners around the world. OEM customers are ex. National Oilwell Vareco and Weatherford Oil Tools. End-user is for ex. Volkswagen for pressure die casting of aluminum engine parts.
An additional product is the Speed valves for speeding up the hydraulic cylinder movement in forward direction.
