Senegal Chlore & Chimie Derives SA – DAKAR (SCCD SA) is an italian-senegalese company founded in November, 2008, operative in the field of chlorine and derivated product from chlorine, created on the basis of an experience and knowledge developed in Italy and in Tunis for more then 13 years. The company is established in Dugar ( 40 km. from Dakar port and 8 km. from the new International airport ) on a land of about 3.500 sm. and a covered area of more than 1.200 sm. All the equipments and machines are imported from USA and Europe in order to follow the International and E.U. rules and laws. The internal laboratory was builded in respect of the International parameters and is certified by BUREAU VERITAS. We store all the analysis for any production and for any delivery. SCCD SA is the first and the only operative company in all West Africa covering five countries and more than 70 millions of people. At this stage, we import raw materials from Europe, but the production process and the transformation of the materials are developed internally. Next SCCD’s aim is to break import dependance with the direct production of the raw materials throught an electrolysis system. SCDD production capacity is more than 100.000 tons/years of SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE at 50°.
