At SceniX, we’re building a “game engine” for rapid development and deployment of robotic learning systems. That is, a world model that captures object geometry, appearance, and dynamics with an eye toward facilitating robotic training and evaluation. Existing AI systems can generate pixels, but often lack a robust understanding of physics and object interactions. We’re on a mission to advance the science of 3D generative models so they can handle the real-world complexity of how objects look, move and interact.
SceniX was founded By William O'Farrell (SpeechWorks, Body Labs, CoSA/After Effects), Changxi Zheng (Columbia professor), Yunzhu Li (Columbia professor) and Sonny Hu (Body Labs, Amazon). They combine a unique background of serial entrepreneurship, computer graphics, physical simulation, and robotics.
