Millions of children and young people are still missing out on an education, particularly in crisis situations. And it becomes particularly difficult for girls, once they reach adulthood, to access training and learning. Millions of women worldwide are consigned to a life of marginalization with no chance of improving their life prospects. UN Women in partnership with BHP Foundation is giving women who have missed out a second chance. The SCE program enables women to fill the gaps in their education and build their agency, independence and economic wellbeing.
