Schmidt Quarries supplies and delivers quality quarry materials for your project. We are committed to our WHS, Quality and Environmental responsibilities and have people who are dedicated to these roles. Our head office is located at Queanbeyan with our quarries located throughout the region. We supply the south east of the state anywhere from Sydney to the Victorian Border and west as far as the Hume Highway. Some of our major projects and customers include: • Roads and Traffic Authority and local shire councils - we supply the RTA and councils with road base, sub base, aggregates and gabion rock for road works and civil projects. • Major civil contractors completing large infrastructure projects • Golf courses - we supply white bunker sand and top-dressing materials for greens and fairways. Schmidt Quarries supplies road bases, rock, aggregates, sands, sports surfaces. We are happy to develop any product that your job may require. Schmidt Quarries supplies the following products: • Road bases, DGB20, DGS20 to RTA 3051 specification as well as road base for your farm road • Gabion, mattress and drainage blanket to R44 and R55 specification • Beaching rock and oversize rock for erosion control, fish works and landscaping • Aggregates for sealing, concrete and drainage to RTA 3151 specification • Sands and soils, including hard to find white sand • Sports surfaces materials We can also look after the deliveries with our own fleet of ten modern truck and dogs and a team of regular subcontractors.
