Having previously owned a bike store and written his university thesis on the theory of carbon fibre handlebars, it was only a small step to found Schmolke Carbon in 1992. Outperforming regular aluminium bars spurred production, turning the company into a market leader. Schmolke Carbon has since dedicated itself to providing only the best quality, focusing on fast delivery and custom-made carbon bike parts.
