At SchoolCom, we are believers that every child has great potential, and it is up to us to identify this and nurture it.
While we have traditionally relied on the judgment of teachers and gurus to identify this, we feel that data and technology hold the key in making this process much more systematic and reliable.

We identified the difficulty in data capture in remote areas where there is limited or no internet connectivity , the major criteria that was holding back the universal application of data based systems in the education industry.
We then developed SmartTab , a unique tablet centered system that makes data capture easier than the traditional writing method. It works offline with the ability to sync over 2G data connection.
Started with just 3000 students in 2013, we have over 150000 students on SchoolCom platform today.

The SchoolCom SmartTab is a unique service offering based on a mobile tablet at its heart that was developed as a result of our years of research and prototyping on the Indian school education system.
The SmartTab makes data capture easier than writing on paper, works in areas with spotty or no internet connectivity, and provides beautiful analytics that help teachers, principals, parents and students to measure performance better and take decisions when they matter.
The robust messaging facility built into the platform also allows easy broadcast of messages and enables parents to keep a close track on their child’s performance, also adding an element of trust and safety.
FLAP
We are currently working on a product named Flap, A framework for teachers to create an interactive content at ease.
We envision Flap to be a global platform where students can access interactive content created by educationalists across the globe.
