About School's Cool Friesland
School's cool koppelt vrijwillige thuismentoren aan leerlingen die extra steun nodig hebben bij de overgang naar het voortgezet onderwijs. De thuismentoren gaan wekelijks bij de leerlingen thuis op bezoek en bieden individuele begeleiding. Met deze individuele begeleiding helpt School’s cool leerlingen om binnen hun eigen omstandigheden vaardigheden en motivatie te ontwikkelen voor goed presteren in een passende onderwijsvorm. School's cool Friesland zit in een samenwerkingsverband van School's cool-vestigingen in Nederland. Momenteel zijn 25+ vestigingen aangesloten. Wij ontmoeten elkaar minimaal tweejaarlijks in het landelijk platform, waar kennis en ervaringen worden uitgewisseld.
