HISTORY Schultz & Chez (“S&C”) has its roots in a firm started on LaSalle Street in 1951 by Jerome Schultz and Lawrence Chez. The founders specialized in providing services to the securities and futures industries, primarily traders, brokers, proprietary trading firms, funds, and exchanges. SERVICES Today, S&C is an accounting and consulting firm that provides services to a broad base of clients and industries. While the firm continues in the tradition of its founding fathers and provides audit, tax and consulting services to the financial services industry, with specialization in domestic and international securities and derivatives, our areas of specialization have expanded to now include the Real Estate, Family Offices, Retail, Software, IRS Representation, Forensic Accounting and Litigation Support, and other areas of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. In addition to conventional accounting, tax preparation and auditing, S&C provides Litigation Support, Succession Planning, Wealth Preservation, Management Consulting, and Estate Planning services.
