The Asia Practice of SNB is headed by our Partner Dr. Jörg-Michael Scheil in both Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City.

In 1995, SNB was the first law firm from the German-speaking countries to open a branch in Shanghai. During our long and continuous presence in China, we have been able to develop our client base, our expertise and our local network steadily. Our mission is to provide legal advice at the highest possible professional level and with a practical, business-oriented approach. Advice to our clients is rendered on the basis of personal trust by German-speaking attorneys with substantial Asia experience and language skills, combined with a high international level of legal expertise in their respective areas of specialization. We can guide our clients to balance structural disadvantages and achieve a better deal.
Our connection to Vietnam was initiated in the 1990s and we decided to enhance our advisory capability in Vietnam by establishing a branch in Ho Chi Minh City in 2012. Our Office there is qualified for a comprehensive legal practice pursuant to our License granted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice.
Our clients may communicate with us in German, English, Chinese, Vietnamese, French and Dutch.
