Science Based Evidence Based Ayurveda (SBEBA) is a scientific innovative diagnostic and treatment methodology developed after more than ten years of intense basic and clinical research by the proponents Dr. Rajkumar KC, MD PhD(Ayurveda) and Dr. Remya Krishnan MD ,PhD ( Ayurveda), both Associate professors and clinicians working at Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medicial college ( Govt of Puducherry institution), Mahe. Today Ayurveda is considered to be slow, ineffective in acute and fast diseases like Infections, inflammation, high BP,Heart attack owing to the incomplete and superficial knowledge of physicians in both Basic and Applied science of Ayurveda again because of gravely impaired education prevailing in professional Ayurveda education today. Chronic problems and lifestyle diseases are also empirically treated with long and unpredictable prescriptions, prolonged hospital admission with multiple therapies , repeated admission with a great component of unpredictability. To terminate these unethical undertakings and to initiate scientific trend in Ayurveda practice and research, the proponents and core faculties of SBEBA mentioned above have developed standardized guidelines and decision making standards emerged from inbuilt science of Ayurveda which are capable to prove and establish the fact that Ayurveda is fast, predictive, accurate and transparent in healthcare. SBEBA put forward highly economical treatment plan and strategies which are patient friendly and health friendly . Most of the times in more than 98 percent cases of all acute and chronic diseases, no hospital admission is required and most minimum dosages of most minimum Ayurveda medicine is enough to bring about fast intended effects with predictability and rationality. No external therapies of any kind are required for patients and this is what that makes SBEBA unique and crucial necessity for modern society.
