ScienceNorway.no brings you science news from Norway. We cover science in the broadest sense – the human sciences as well as natural science, health and technology. We offer news and background stories written by our science journalists, and blogs, opinions and popular science articles written by scientists and researchers in Norway. ScienceNorway is developed by forskning.no – a highly trusted, award-winning science news magazine, published in Norwegian. Most of our content is adapted and translated from the Norwegian news site, while some stories are written especially with our international audience in mind. ScienceNorway.no is an independent news source, which operates in line with the Norwegian Editor’s Code and the Code of Ethics of the Norwegian Press. Forskning.no and ScienceNorway.no are owned by the non-profit organisation Forening for drift av forskning.no. This organisation in turn is owned by almost 80 universities and research institutions in Norway. The institutions get to publish press releases on sciencenorway.no. These are clearly marked as such, at the top, in the byline and at the bottom of the press release.
