MIT Science Policy Review

The Review is a MIT researcher-run journal whose purpose is to publish essays about tough problems, emerging technologies & policy. Its peer-reviewed publications are dedicated to making complex science policy issues accessible and actionable. Our mission is to provide clear, authoritative insight at the intersection of science, technology, and society, helping policymakers - from local governments to international bodies - navigate today's most pressing challenges. We publish original, accessible research on topics including: Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change, Science Enterprise, Space & Security and Healthcare. Supported by MIT and the MIT Technology and Policy Program, we operate independently. The views expressed in our volumes belong solely to the authors. With five volumes published and Volume VI - Ethics in Innovation - launching in August 2025, we are also expanding our impact beyond the page with in-person events and roundtables in Cambridge, MA and beyond.
