The ’Sconset Trust is a membership-supported nonprofit organization dedicated to land conservation and historic preservation in and around the village of Siasconset, Massachusetts on the island of Nantucket. The Trust was created in 1984 with the mission to protect the unique character of the ’Sconset community through conservation of open land and preservation of historically and/or architecturally significant structures in and around the village. Its assets include ~150 acres of open land held in conservation, the Sankaty Head Lighthouse, a historic house and the ‘Sconset Market. In addition, it holds two preservation easements and one conservation easement.
