The sCOOL2walk app facilitates a safe way to organise and monitor walking-groups for children. Therefore no need drop of your children to school daily (by car) but let them join the group on route to school. Promoting active mobility, creating value for traffic education among the young ones; but above all: improving safety around schoolzones!
The app is developed in full co-creation with parents, children, and schools to fit every functionality to specific needs, wishes and possible barriers. With 3 pilots in European cities (Siggiewi (Malta), Barcelona & Riga) the effects on car reduction, social cohesion, and conscious mobility decision making is proven to be very effective!
