Former Premier League stars from some of the UK’s biggest clubs are giving their backing to a new interactive website called Scorecher, which uses experts from the sport to allow people to train, play and coach like an elite footballer. Scorecher is the first cloud-based resource to integrate football coaching, fitness, nutritional advice and sports psychology for the next generation of football stars.
Ex-Liverpool and Leicester striker Emile Heskey, Manchester United legends Lee Sharpe and David May, former Arsenal, West Ham and Celtic striker John Hartson and Everton and Wales goalkeeper Neville Southall and Liverpool ladies ace, Natasha Harding, are giving their support to the project.
Scorecher offers 24/7 access to virtual football coaching by Premier League quality coaches, including skills, fitness, psychology, physio and nutritional advice for footballers around the world. Budding athletes will be able to follow video coaching and use the same training techniques and lifestyle advice as the professionals.
Scorecher is an innovative interactive website, available 24/7, on any computer device. It is coaching when you want it, where you want it. One of the main aims of Scorecher is to unite and connect the global football community online, sourcing new talent and upcoming stars from different nations across the world.
As well as watching and interacting with the coaching sessions, users can upload their own videos, monitor how they are progressing and share performance information in The Performance Room.
There’s a gamified approach in The Performance Room, where players can compete across all areas, receiving points for lifestyle, skills and fitness, being able to move up league tables.
The Scorecher Live feature offers the potential for live coaching and demonstrations delivered by experts, along with providing performance analysis, to help players develop their skills.
