For over 50 years the Charters family have been making very special knitwear in the Scottish Border town of Hawick. Cashmere and other luxury fibres have been used to produce sweaters of the finest quality for prestigious labels and designers. The company is now run by the third generation of the Charters family who are continuing to make beautiful sweaters with the quality and tradition of their heritage. Some of Scott & Charters workforce have been with the company for over 25 years and all share the company’s ethos of producing the best quality product they possibly can. In recent years Scott and Charters have developed their own ranges of knitwear that combine this tradition of quality knitwear with forward thinking fashion styling. These ranges have proved to be very successful and are available in stores from London to Tokyo, from Paris to New York.
