Scott Baugh for Congress

Scott Baugh is an Orange County business owner and attorney specializing in the real estate, healthcare, energy, and technology sectors. He is the former Chairman of the Orange County Republican Party and former California State Assembly Republican Leader. Baugh served on numerous Republican presidential campaigns and has led fundraising in Orange County for Governors, Senators, and members of Congress from across the country. Prior to his election to the State Assembly in 1995, Scott served as a corporate counselor for Union Pacific Railroad. He is an active member of the community, having founded the OC Marathon Foundation, a local charity that has helped teach 40,000 young people about exercise and nutrition. Scott also serves as Chairman of the Gang Reduction Intervention Program (GRIP) which works with law enforcement throughout the county to keep kids out of gangs. He is a founder and a trustee at Pacifica Christian High School of Orange County. Scott and his wife Wendy, live in Huntington Beach. He has lived in the district for over 30 years. Scott is running to be a voice for limited, constitutional government. He believes in lower taxes, more freedom, and strong borders.
