Scott L Aker, Architect LLC is a research and data driven parametric design firm. Using advanced computer modeling together with research scholarship to bring a fully integrated building systems design unique for each program and project typology. The firm has over 15 years of experience in the A/E and Construction industry providing architecture and design services for clients and consultants working for several municipal, state, and military agencies, such as PANYNJ, NYSOPR, NYSDEC, NYSOPRHP, PPR, DOD, GSA, and NAVFAC. Scott Aker, AIA, has acquired a working knowledge of various federal, aviation, military standards and ordinances. He has worked with clients on various types of facilities providing architecture design, detailing, specification writing, and contract administration services for space planning, office layouts, food service design, aviation design, hangars, equipment placement coordination for large-scale commercial office, first-class airline lounges, military facilities, and memorials. The firm’s current research includes exploring the intersections between architecture and trauma; building systems integration; and planetary space settlements. The firm is registered in five states (NY, PA, DE, DC, VA) and counting; LEED AP BD+C Certified; NCARB Certified; E/O Insured.
