Scottish Training Organisation

The Scottish Training Organisation (STO), established in 2010, aims to represent employers and training companies operating and committed to training throughout Scotland, and to forge strong links with the public sector. In its infancy STO has acted fast in securing employer members intent on driving learning and development within their organisations. We have connected with established learning and development practitioners renowned for their delivery of training, expertise and knowledge of the training industry, their vast and varied established networks and their commitment to quality assurance. We have initiated discussions with a variety of public sector groups in support and on behalf of our membership. The nucleus of the current membership consists of employers, colleges and commercial training companies. The word is spreading and more employers and training practitioners are contacting STO on a daily basis for more information and to join us on our journey.
