The SCRiPTS group, based in the Department of Chemistry at Ghent University, welcomes you to our page!
Our group is chaired by Prof. dr. Klaartje De Buysser and Prof. dr. Isabel Van Driessche. The research of SCRiPTS is defined by two main pillars:
- Controlled synthesis of metal oxide nanocrystals, ligand design and nanocrystal surface chemistry, and the application of nanocrystals in medical imaging, contrast-enhanced composites and catalysis.
- Solution processing of functional thin films for piezoelectric, ferroelectric and electro-optical applications
