SculptHER

SculptHER is a unique initiative that aims to address the significant gender gap in public statues by creating a collection of sculptures that celebrates extraordinary women throughout history. Our sculptures are tools to educate, inspire, and remind women and men of all ages of the incredible accomplishments of women, particularly those who fought for equal rights and their place in science, arts, math, literature, technology, politics, and more. Our one-of-a-kind marble busts are crafted by skilled artisans and are designed to bring more diversity and inclusivity to public art. Each sculpture is meticulously crafted to capture the unique features and spirit of the women they depict, making them true works of art that inspire and educate. As of February 2023, we have created 29 sculptures, including Abigail Adams, Gloria Richardson, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul, Ida B. Wells, Juliette Gordon Low, Mary McLeod Bethune, Maya Angelou, Michelle Obama, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Susan B. Anthony, Madam C.J. Walker, Clara Barton, Bessie Coleman, Kamala Harris, Eleanor Roosevelt, Hypatia of Alexandria, Anna May Wong, Marie Curie, Jovita Idar, Princess Diana, and Fannie Lou Hamer, with more to come. Our mission is to give women the recognition they deserve by spreading awareness of their remarkable contributions to society.
